Moonlock joins Cybersecurity Tech Accord

Big news: we’ve joined forces with over 160 other tech companies in the Cybersecurity Tech Accord. It’s a natural step for us as MacPaw’s cybersecurity specialists, committed to strengthening online security.

As a signatory, Moonlock will participate in the industry-wide collaboration to build a platform for dialogue, discovery, and decisive action that protects people from malicious threats.

Amplifying the voice of the technology industry on international cybersecurity

The Cybersecurity Tech Accord is an alliance of tech companies committed to making the internet safer through collaboration. Over the past six years, it has become the largest group of its kind, focused on tackling the ever-increasing cyber threats we face today—from state-sponsored attacks to the rise of cyber mercenaries.

With cybersecurity challenges continuing to grow, we at Moonlock believe that no single organization can tackle them alone. We share the idea that protecting the online world is in everyone’s best interest, and the Cybersecurity Tech Accord is a testament to that.

Moonlock joins the list of signatories and brings expertise in macOS security to the table. At the same time, we are excited to collaborate with other members and support the global push for better cybersecurity standards.

Commitment to the principles that secure the digital world

As a division of MacPaw, a company that develops macOS and iOS software, Moonlock pays great attention to protecting MacPaw’s customers from malicious threats. Standing alongside our fellow members of the Cybersecurity Tech Accord, we reinforce our pledge to improve the security, stability, and resilience of cyberspace.

To this end, Moonlock adopts the founding principles of the coalition:

  • We will protect all of our users and customers everywhere.
  • We will oppose cyberattacks on innocent citizens and enterprises from everywhere.
  • We will help empower users, customers, and developers to strengthen cybersecurity protection.
  • We will partner with each other and with like-minded groups to enhance cybersecurity.

We are excited to amplify the voice of the technology industry, advocating for better cybersecurity policies worldwide. We are looking forward to our cooperation where we can contribute to and learn from the group’s collective knowledge, all while working together to protect our customers and users.
